The Human Layer Between Your Data and Real Change.
Technology has made it easier than ever to collect information about our health. Wearables track sleep, recovery, heart rate, activity, and fitness. Annual labs provide another snapshot. DEXA, VO₂ Max, RMR, genetic testing, biomarkers, and other assessments can add even more information.
But more information does not automatically create better decisions.
Refined Genetix was built to help people understand what deserves their attention, simplify what can feel overwhelming, and turn health information into a realistic plan they can actually follow.

Why I Built Refined Genetix
My interest in this space started personally.
Like many people, I learned that getting more information about your health can sometimes create more questions than answers. A test result, genetic report, wearable score, or lab value may tell you something — but it doesn't necessarily tell you what deserves your attention today, or what you should actually change.
That experience changed the way I thought about health and wellness. I became increasingly interested not just in collecting health information, but in understanding how the pieces fit together and how people can use that information to make better everyday decisions.
That became the foundation for Refined Genetix.
Today the mission is simple: help people cut through the noise, understand what matters, and stay accountable to the few changes most likely to improve their health and quality of life over time.
Why This Became Personal
Both my wife and daughter live with rare genetic conditions. The years spent navigating specialists, test results, and conflicting advice taught me how much clarity matters when the stakes are real — and how rarely more data, on its own, provides it.
I hold a degree in Genetics and have published research in Hematology and Oncology, and I've spent my career translating complex science into language and decisions people can act on. Refined Genetix grew out of that combination: personal experience and professional curiosity about how better information could lead to better everyday decisions. I'm not a physician, and Refined Genetix does not provide medical care.
This company wasn't created because health optimization looked like a trendy business opportunity. It came from living the problem.
The role I actually play
My role is not to replace your physician, dietitian, trainer, or other healthcare professionals.
It's to help organize the wellness information you already have, identify patterns and priorities, help determine when additional information may actually be useful, and create a practical accountability system around the changes you want to make.
What I Believe
More data isn't always better.
If another test won't change a decision, you may not need it.
Your health is bigger than a score.
One wearable number, lab result, or bad night of sleep should not define your progress.
Trends matter more than snapshots.
Healthspan is built over years. Meaningful patterns become clearer over time.
Three priorities beat thirty recommendations.
A plan only works if you can actually follow it.
Accountability changes outcomes.
Knowing what to do and consistently doing it are two very different things.
What Refined Genetix Is — and Isn't
Refined Genetix is
- A personal health data organization service
- A monthly wellness strategy
- A way to identify meaningful trends
- A system for setting clear priorities
- An accountability relationship
- A testing concierge when additional information may be useful
- A long-term healthspan tracking framework
Refined Genetix is not
- A replacement for your physician
- A medical diagnosis service
- A treatment provider
- A laboratory
- A company trying to sell you every possible health test
- Another wearable
- Another app giving you more numbers to worry about
The goal isn't to replace the professionals and technology already in your life. It's to help you get more value from them.
Technology Can Give You More Answers.
It Can't Live Your Life.
Your wearable doesn't know that you spent three days traveling for work.
A lab report doesn't know that you hate running but enjoy strength training.
An algorithm may recommend ten changes without knowing you realistically have time for two.
Context matters.
Refined Genetix combines the information you already have with your goals, schedule, preferences, and real-world constraints to help identify a plan you can actually sustain.
Your devices collect the data. We help you decide what to do with it.
A Bigger View of Healthspan
Refined Genetix organizes available wellness information across six areas:
Together, these form the Refined Healthspan Map — a simple framework for seeing where you have useful information, where trends deserve attention, and where additional data may or may not be helpful.
A Note From Jeff
I don't believe you need to spend your life tracking every number or chasing every new health technology.
I do believe that understanding a few meaningful trends — and doing something consistently with that information — can make a difference.
That's what I want Refined Genetix to provide.
Bring the information you already have. We'll organize it, identify what deserves attention, and build a realistic plan around your life.
And then we'll keep working the plan.

You Already Have More Health Data Than You Think.
Let's figure out what matters.
Refined Genetix provides wellness education, data organization, lifestyle strategy, testing coordination, and accountability. Refined Genetix does not diagnose, treat, cure, prevent, or medically manage disease. Testing is performed by independent third-party laboratories, imaging centers, testing providers, healthcare professionals, or other qualified facilities.
